MMD Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan) has facilitated the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on technical exchange between Aquament Co., Ltd. and Taichung Aquarium in Taiwan.
Aquament Co., Ltd. is a leading Japanese company specializing in the planning, production, and operation of aquariums, including átoa in Kobe, Shikoku Aquarium, and Hiroshima Motomachi Aquarium. The MOU aims to promote ongoing collaboration through the sharing of technologies and expertise in areas such as exhibition design, experience design, aquarium operations, and marine education. As the coordinator of this project, MMD served as a bridge between the two organizations, fostering mutual trust and facilitating seamless collaboration between Japan and Taiwan. Through this MOU, Taichung Aquarium and Aquament Co., Ltd. will further strengthen international cooperation in the aquarium sector by promoting technical and professional exchange, with the shared goal of creating more engaging visitor experiences and advancing aquarium operations.
Guided by its vision, “Museums Around the World,” MMD will continue to serve as a bridge connecting museums, cultural institutions, and businesses across Japan, Taiwan, and beyond. Through these efforts, MMD remains committed to building a global museum network and creating new cultural value.
